The best day of the season for Missouri lacrossehas arrived. The weather is perfect and games will kick off at noon with the Freshman teams followed by the Junior Varsity at 2, and finally the big game at 4. Some delicious BBQ will be on hand all day from noon till sold out for $10. We are raising funds for three fantastic charities. The Cystic Fybrosis Foundatiom, Loyola Academy, and my personal favorite The Michael Sennnett Count On Me Foundation. Also be sure to stop by The Normal Brand table, the boys will not only be selling their spring gear and hats but will be raffling off one of their Top Side leather backpacks.

Game Notes:
After a tough 10-8 loss to #1 MICDS on Tuesday the U High will be looking to right the ship this afternoon. Playing in their first game since the loss of senior captain Pat Durnien, the Jr. Bills saw some solid production from Farroll, Howley, Hall, and Carse. That core group seems to have picked up the load and will look to keep the offense flowing. On defense for SLUH senior Anthony Sansone played his best game holding the Rams Alexander Feldman scoreless with 3 assists and will need to be on it again today. The matchups should be intriguing to see who will guard Radke and Jones between both Sansone and Konzen. Specialists Jack Perryman and Pat Broughton will do their best efforts to control time of possesion for the Jr. Bills as Broughton dominated last years match up after losing the first two faceoffs. The Jr. Bills are in possession of The vaunted Father Marco Cup and will do everything in their power to go back-to-back on their home field.
DeSmet is coming off a hard fought 9-8 win over Webster Groves. The Spartans went up 2 goals early with junior Michael McDonough winning the first 2 draws clean and finding Ross and Radke. The face off duo of Rogers and McDonough will have a tall order vs Broughton but if any pair of face off men could make it a fight it would be these two. On defense for De Smet freshman goalie Dylan Radke will be in his first true big game and it will be interesting to see how he deals with the pageantry and the spectacle of the days events. The Spartans will look to score early and often with Radke and Jones down at attack. Lindenwood bound senior Leonard Jones has had his best year yet and has had multiple 6 goal games. Not to be outdone Derek Radke has been the point man on many of Jones goals and has done a much better job this year of using his size to his advantage and having a better shot selection. This afternoon's game should be an absolute dogfight and come down to the last whistle.
My Call 12-10 SLUH
