Notes: In the final game of the evening the #6 ranked CBC Cadets (6-5) travel around the corner to the Palace on Ballas to take on rival #3 the De Smet Spartans (8-3). The Spartans are looking to follow the plan that led them to a 16-6 back on March 27th. Senior attackman Noah "Threat to Score" Iversen has lived up to the hype. He broke the All-Time points record with an 8 point night vs Vianney on May 7th to give him 206 in his short two year career at De Smet. On the season Iversen is leading Division 1 in scoring with 135 points (53,82). A majority of those assists have found fellow attackmen Ben Ross 44 points (35,9) and Derek Radke 45 points  (33,12).  Senior midfielder Craig Koester has been solid with 36 points (24-12) to go along with 82 gbs and a 71% mark at the face off dot. Once again be sure to get there on time as Koester started last game with a goal in the first 7 seconds of the game. Defensively look for Brian Pandolfo to cover Cadet leading scorer Nick Schveninger who has taken command of the offense after the loss of Parker Cordova. Schveninger loves to go to the rack and will finish the rock when given the chance, he has 34 points this year (28,6). CBC has speed at the midfield with Cruz and a solid shooting threat in Litteken. However in the first meeting the clearing game doomed the Cadets as De Smet used a mean 10 man ride to force multiple turnovers which would lead to goals. Senior net minder Joe Redlingshafer will have to do a good job of playing QB and making the correct reads. Look for the Cadets to try and find the Cruz brothers in space and let their speed do the rest. Ryan Willsdorf and John Cody will need to find a way to battle the Koester and McDonough duo as De Smet was able to control Time of Possession in the first meeting. The third game of the triple header should be a fantastic end to the evening and unfortunately for 3 teams the end of their seasons as well.

My Call: 14-6 De Smet
