The first annual MCC lacrosse tournament has started off with a bang. Both semifinal games were close hard fought games that could have went either way. After the dust settled DeSmet and CBC were  the only ones left. DeSmet used a fourth quarter face off run to pull away 11-8.  Drew Brown is looking like one of the top midfielders in the state after his performance Tuesday, followed by cast of characters in Radke(Derek),Rogers,Mcdonough, and Wetzel the Spartans are ready to make a run for the 'Ship. After a baptism by fire his freshman year Radke (Dylan) is looking like the top goalie in the state and will need to be if the Spartans are going to make a run.
The Cadet's were able to sneak past the UHigh  Tuesday night. A highly debatable 2 minute non relaseable call turned the game from 5-4 SLUH to 7-5 CBC as the Cadets man up unit was clicking. CBC was short some key players and it looks like they might be with out them till the midway point of the season. CBC has speed and if they can beat DeSmet tonight without some of their core athletes CBC could be poised to make a run this year as well.
The face off battle will once again be a key factor tonight as the two headed monster of Rogers and Mcdonough will take on Chase Elinor. Max and Mike took over in the fourth to the point were Chaminade had to double pole the wings. If they can get rolling early it could get ugly quick.
